Sweet and Sour Fish

When I get married I realized that I have passion for cooking.  I love preparing ingredients like peeling, slicing and mixing that others find it exhausting.  I love cooking shows.  I love to shop in the kitchen department.  And, I adore chefs.

I have no formal training in cooking, but I am proud to say that my friends and especially my husband loves my dishes.  I guess this is my new skill and hubby wants me to have a formal training in the future.  ☺

Today, I decided to cook "Sweet and Sour Fish".  It was my hubby's wish so I want to give him his happiness.

My ingredients are:

Tanigue Fish

Tomato ketchup

First, I fried the sliced tanigue fish and put aside.  Second, I sautéed ginger, onion, garlic and tomatoes in another pan using the oil that I fried the fish earlier.  I add the sliced carrots and let it simmer for about two minutes and put the tomato ketchup, salt, pepper, small amount of water.  I simmer it again for another three minutes.  Lastly, I mixed the fried fish in the sauce and serve it immediately while it is hot.
